With the dawn of the globalization, offshore services have started becoming more popular with international businesses seeking lucrative ways to expand their revenue. For various reasons, Philippines outsourcing has demonstrated to be quite thriving, both for the offshore outsourcing customers and for the Philippines outsourcing corporation as well. The industry has gotten higher over the years because more and more businesses have realized that offshore outsourcing to the Philippines is always competent.
Philippines business process outsourcing is the most foremost form of outsourcing. Outsourcing Information technology (IT) is also popular. These industries are exceptional for a number of reasons. One of them is the human resource employed in the industry. The expertise in the English language is simply superior, as well as the number of tertiary graduates every year. And because the cost of living is at a low level, there is lower employee rate as well. The infrastructure is also an vital aspect, and the Philippines outsourcing companies are never left behind in terms of new equipment. The real estate is also quite low in cost, which means lower cost of setups for companies. The government is also encouraging of the industry, so there are no problems regarding that.
While Metro Manila is the leading center in the Philippines for offshore business process outsourcing, there are already a number of other places being developed, such as Clark, Davao, and Cebu. Metro Manila persists to take the lead as it is the commercial and financial center of the country, where most businesses and most educated people are situated. But the three other cities cited, representing other parts of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, proffer an even more cost-effective option to the operations in Metro Manila. These fairly unused areas offer lower costs in terms of operation, while still upholding the superiority of services and infrastructure. These cities are also viable in terms of its educated population, so the human resource is never wanting either.
Philippines outsourcing is only bound to get better over the years, and with the amount of cities and companies offering offshore services, international companies are sure that they cannot go wrong with offshoring to the Philippines.

Why PAs Are Not Meant To Make You A Cup Of Coffee
This is just a matter of personal opinion: I think Personal Assistants (PAs) are meant not to make their boss a cup of coffee. My point is, you hired a competent professional to take care of your administrative and personal needs, why let them make you coffee. When I say administrative needs this includes diary and spreadsheet management, accounting and bookkeeping, research and reporting, etc. When we say "personal" this includes hotel reservations, flight and travel reservations, appointment setting with a client, doctor, or managing the payment of credit cards and bills.
If you hired someone to do all these stuff for you and your business, why would you ask them to make you a cup of coffee (unless coffee-making is one of their forte). When people think about Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or Secretary it is almost synonymous to coffee-making.
I think it's about time we UPGRADE how the world see PAs, EAs and Secretaries. These are professional people that CEOs hire to represent them and their business. Why ask them to get you a cup of coffee?
Just a thought really.

Work As A Virtual Assistant
Do you want to work as a virtual assistant? A virtual assistant is a personal assistant working at a different country or location. It's like working as an executive secretary except you're not working inside your boss' office. You might be miles away from your boss. He could be in California or London, and you could be in Manila or Singapore. Your a "virtual" personal assistant. Your responsibilities may be the same as those of the regular EAs or secretaries but your tasks are limited to what you can do for your boss ONLINE.
No, your boss can't ask you to make him a cup of coffee, get his wife's laundry at the shop, or prepare his lunch. Your contact with your boss is through the phone and the Internet. Working as a virtual assistant, your tasks would include the following:
- make/receive telephone calls
- create/reply to e-mails
- word processing
- data filing
- faxing
- create correspondences/report
- data management
- customer service
- online marketing
- conduct research
- diary and spreadsheet management

Outsource Tasks To A Virtual Assistant
Outsourcing does not only offer you the chance to lower your operational costs but it gives something more that money can't even buy. Outsourcing gives you more time. When you're running a business, there are a million and one things to do with the little time you are given.
24 hours is just too short for a busy entrepreneur like you. And besides, your business is not your only concern. There are friends, families, hobbies or other things that you want to personally spend more time with.
Outsourcing some of your tasks to professional outsourcing companies gives you back more than what you're paying them. Aside from the benefit of lowering your operational costs, you also get to outsource your tasks to the real experts, have more time to concentrate on the core aspects of your business, and have more time to do things that personally matters to you.
Time is more valuable than gold. Once lost, you can never have time back. This is what outsourcing is all about - making sure you make the most of the time you are given. Instead of wasting time in trying to do something that is not your company's forte, outsourcing gives you the chance to tap into professional services without you having to spend money on training, office equipment, etc.
Outsourcing helps your business grow because it helps you to have more time to concentrate on the more important aspects of your business. You can outsource your customer service, technical support, billing department, administrative tasks, sales and marketing, or your lead generation to reliable BPO companies.

If you are planning to get rid of your administrative works and outsource them to an expert, hire a Philippines virtual assistant. A virtual assistant can perform a variety of tasks including spreadsheet management, hotel reservations, diary management, accounting and bookkeeping, customer service, and even online marketing.
Make sure that when you outsource, you choose the right outsourcing company.

Overcoming The Outsourcing Skepticism
Although virtual assistant services abound the online world today, there still exist a fairly large majority of outsourcing skeptics. When I say "outsourcing skeptics", these are individuals who still frown at the mere idea of outsourcing work to other people, or other countries. There are several reasons why professionals and companies are scared of outsourcing to other countries like India, Russia, Brazil, China, and Philippines. Outsourcing skepticism arises from the lack of knowledge on what outsourcing can do to help develop and maximize the company's business potential. Also most entrepreneurs are scared to outsource some aspects of their business because they don't know which business process outsourcing (BPO) company to turn to. Although there abounds a large number of outsourcing companies worldwide, the skepticism is also fueled by the fear of not being able to outsource successfully.
Outsourcing offers entrepreneurs the opportunity to cut cost and have more time to spend on core functions of the business. Outsourcing also allows companies to have professionals and experts handle aspects of the business that are not really the companies' forte.
Take for example, a company that manufactures and sells cars. Instead of having an in-house customer service department, the car company can just outsource it to a call center company in the Philippines and let experts worry about the customer service aspect of the business. The car company, in the meantime, can worry more about marketing and the production aspects of the business. Outsourcing customer service can also cut operational costs since the car company doesn't have to spend on employee benefits and office infrastructures.
Outsourcing covers a wide-range of services and is not limited to customer service and telemarketing. Now that the BPO industry has evolved, outsourcing includes tasks such as office and administrative work, sales and marketing, accounting and bookkeeping, and web design and web development.
Entrepreneurs can overcome their outsourcing skepticism by knowing what outsourcing can do for them. Plus, entrepreneurs should also be able to partner with the right outsourcing partner who is reliable, skilled, stable, and effective.
